I hope you didn't spend too much time reading the synopsis, because that's a lie. They mention the humanity versus a bug-like alien thing maybe three times and show it once at the beginning of episode 1. This is another cute girls doing ___ show, and that happens to be anti-alien mercs, but you'd be forgiven for not knowing that. Mostly slice of life shenanigans and yuri baiting the MC while the girls are being cute. Don't waste your time unless something happens to jar this story out of its stupor.
