I read this a few days ago. It was a waste of time. I would have preferred an alternate story or gag plot, instead of a retelling of the training time leaving out Ranch.
Yeah, I don't get the point of this. Seems like someone cashing in on Dragon Ball's success with Toriyama "supervising" it (which probably means he doesn't do anything, just gets some of the profit).
Why re-tell us a story we're all very familiar with? Why speed it up like that? Why... why... all I gotta ask is why.
sure, why not retcon the plot?
it's not as if Krillin is Goku's best friend, or that the fight against Frieza fleshed out just how strong and kind hero goku is.
seriously, why bother? everything ever is turning to crap.
yeah this is pretty bad...
Maybe it's meant to be an intro to the DB years for people whose only familiarity with the series is Dragonball Kai.Quote:
