Virtual Dub Mod

Hi ppl...umm can anybody help me to split a ".omg" video file into its audio parts and video parts and then make changes to the audio part of the file by cutting out a specific part in it? I tried reading the help guide and stuff on the VirtualDub Mod website but im a newb wit computers...so i didnt realli understand...if anybody can give me some screenshots or some step by step instructions on how to do this i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for all your time and effort.
