How long have you been watching fan subbed anime?

Just curious to know how long people here have been watching fansubs. I have been watching since march of 2004. Jus a little over a year now.

Hmmm... that would be back in junior high, when it was still vhs tapes being shipped around, I'd say about 7 or 8 years now.

fansubs would have to be.......5 maybe 6

freshman year summer... so I guess it'll be nearing 3 years now.

4 years. Started seriously 3 years ago though. Saw it the first time like 10 years ago and back then I loved it too but never really got a chance to pick it up (I was 8 years old and didn't even have a computer).

1 year ago i saw 1 episode of naruto at a friend. love at the first sight. since then watched a shit load of fansubbed anime.

One year ago. My cousin showed me Naruto and I was hooked.

I'm thinking atleast 10 years back in the dark ages of 2400 bps modems and when you had to find someone with VHS copies [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

Ever since I was little I use to watch anime with Korean subs.

Mmm. I've been watching for about 2 years now.

I've gotten into the fansubbing scene at about... June 2003. Around when I was still really active on this forums.

Its been a little over a year for me. A friend showed me Ep. 71 of Naruto (great starting place btw [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] ), and I been watching fansubbed anime since.

started watching anime in general about 3 years ago, first DBZ, then DB, Trigun, and then i kinda lost track of which anime came later, it's all a blur.

Its been a year for me. My friend first showed me Naruto (my first time watching a fansubbed anime) and after that, I was hooked. I asked him to teach me about BitTorrent and after that, I've been downloading and only watching fansubs.
