Hey,

Does anyone know anything about this anime? It looked kinda cool from the main(?) website:

I haven't downloaded the raws yet( I think ep. 2 came out) because

1) Running low on hardrive space i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif
2) I've been waiting for some feedback but none of my friends are watching it...(i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif * 2)

Plot: small guy from our world gets trasported to some other world, which is all fantasy and stuff, and get's to fight the evil group of bad-do'ers.
special: instead of chi, chackra or magic, the charecters use special items called madogus to call out powers, of course, the madogu's are called arms (german accent) but they're still madogu's...

as you can probably guess by the use of the word madogu, this anime is also from the creator of Flame of Recca, so if you liked FoR , you'll most likely like this one.

Charecters are pretty decent, no one's espically annoying so far, and there are a few who stand out (baboo, Alan), and the fights aren't awfully bad either...

I'm planning to get this anime soon, once it reaches ep 4 by a decent fan subbers group

I've seen the first episode. It seems a bit Digimon-ish to me...
not sure if I'm gonna stick with it, but I'll watch another episode and see.

I think this looks awesome, Seems childish to me, I dont like when animes consist of kids under 12 lol. Its irratating but anyway looks like an okay storyline, I do think the stupid mace is going to get annoying!

yeah i havnt even watched this yet but seeing a mace with a face is just stupid not sure itf i'll watch because of it. Maybe if it gets more positive buzz i'll check it out but for now theres too many other anime to watch.

Not watched it yet but I read the first few chapters of the manga - so far its not that bad but its a bit on the kiddie side which is a little annoying. That cup and ball/mace/hammer thing is doing my head in...shame cos I was interested in the sound of it...

I think it was ok so far and not enough to decide if to go on with it or not.
The bigger problem is, which version to take. There are 3 groups subbing and 2 of them are joints of good groups: Anime-Kraze & Froth-Bite and Static-Subs & Any
I have seen both and both are good quality with a small advantage for A-Kraze in video quality, which is probably because of the size of their version, but therefore SS's should get on one DVD, if the series has about 24-26 Eps.

I downloaded the SS version because I watched their version of My Hime and like their work...not to say that Anime Kraze isn't good. Sorry I can't give you anymore feedback on the other groups but SS-AnimeYuki are doing a pretty good job i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif.

from what i saw the SS-AnY was pretty good... though it had some problems with consistency and editing that i didnt like... for example they sometimes use MAR and sometimes they use Marchen...

They also use "Gin" when "Ginouji" (or something similar) is being said...

i'll stay with the Froth-Kraze version... though i'll watch whichever comes first of the two...

Expect a lot of 1 on 1 battles, with Power-up training stages as well

I think the series has become pretty interesting as of late with the Chess no Koma stuff and all, I would love to see an all out war, though i doubt that would happen...

Episode 11 is out btw, and from the previews it looked like it would be a very good episode...

i'm still watching this, i like this anime for some weird reason it's a little childish some times but it makes me laugh a lot so i'll just keep watching and since it's the same artist as Flame of Recca i'm expecting some good things to happen once the story progresses

lol yeah that really sucked he could've come up with a way better ability, they said he could choose any kind of technique he could think of and he turns up with this crappy one, anyway yeah the battles have been dissapointing, i hope that this training works out so they can start kicking ass and i would love to see Phantom in action

This is what I think... that Danna character was the husband of someone... and it's possible that he was Ginta's father...

as we know wives call their husbands Danna-sama, so it's not a far stretch, and when he introduced himself he simply said "where i come from i'm called Danna" instead of saying, "My name is Danna"... and that Guardian in the training dimension was going about how Ginta and Danna resemble each other... and in the first episode, I remember Ginta's mother acting very wierd, like she knew that Ginta was gonna be called to the other world...

Just watched episode 14...

The Gargoyle kicks ass... much better than the stupid bubble gun he was using earlier... which was stupid...

PhanTOM, creepy as always... killed his group member like it was nothing...

I wonder what the key is for...

wow it has been pretty long since there has been a release wondering if their just slow or what i was really starting to like this show too anyone else up to date with this one, kinda out of the anime scene for some time i still download eps but usually takes long time before i start to watch maybe cuz the two weekly shows i used to watch suck ass at the moment the shows names are obivious ofcourse cough...naruto...cough...bleach...cough anyway hope they pick up their pace subbing this i think the raws are in the 50's we're stuck at 35:(

Well I don't know about the anime, but in the manga people certainly die... Wouldn't know about main characters though. I haven't seen the scenes depicted in the anime, but there have been a couple of fairly violent panels in the manga, heads getting chopped off and all.
