This one of those shounen's that is fun for everyone, I recommend it for now...

I'm recommending the Section-9 version... it's the one i'm getting...

if you don't want Section-9 then try the GaS version....

all the other versions suck ass... so avoid them...

I previewed the other versions, and liked Section-9 the best.

Looks like an interesting show. Nice animation and music. We'll see how the story plays out.
Actually, when I saw the promo for this, I thought SquareEnix was involved, given the animation style.
btw How many eps. are planned for EG?

Watched the first ep, the whole merging thing reminded me of the second Zoids when the organoids would merge with certain zoids to make them more powerful. Gonna get ep2 now.

I have seen the first two eps, and to be honest, it reminded me of Arc the Lad and Scrapped Princess, but not in a good way. I think I'm going to pass on this one. I can't see the reason ADV prelicensed this. It seems like it will just be more of the same all over again. Some of the characters looked interesting and the character design was fairly creative (to a point), but that was about it.

I think it looks alot like falme of recca, but hopefully its alot better. if it gets into the whole fight and weapon of the week it could get old real quick. Hope thats not the case looks decent enough.

I have to disagree that its like flame of recca. This anime seems to focus more on the relationship between coud and ren then the actual powers. While flame of recca focused on him getting more power to save the girl. And i can't compare to second season of zoids cause i never saw it ^^. never saw arc the lad and the power thing mabey a like scraped princess dragoon but the story plot seems totaly different. This is only my personal opinion and i'm probably really wrong ^^ but oh well

I always get my torrents from www.tokytosho.com or www.baka-updates.com, take your pick. This series is a very simple and light anime to watch and enjoy, nothing really stands out about it but still an ok watch.

I have been downloading from Eval Power but I like Section 9's alot better. Is it Eden Raid or Edil Raid? Likewise with the pleasure or preja thing? Which one is correct? One last question. Is section 9's subs better in translations than to Eval Power's?

Section-9 should be the superior translation, and from what i've read around they are...

Ive never tried Eval Power's subs, but from what I've heard from them, they are not good... so I won't give them a shot...

Yeah, Section 9's version is better but Eval Powar comes out with them faster i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif. I'm just watching the raws right now and downloading Section 9's version when it comes out. By the way episode 20 was really good(won't post spoilers because it'll ruin it but it is something to look forward too i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif).

So how bad or good is Eval power and Nameless. Im really getting tired of waiting for section9. Last time I waited for some other group it was for Seven Samurai and the two groups I waited for just dropped it, and I still havent watched like the last eight episodes.

Eval Powar use to be alone but they join with Nameless Anime.. but it ok at subbing only thing i dont like is that each character has it own line color. like Ren subs are blue and Coud lines are red. makes a bit fruity but its alright

They are good. I belive that they had the better translation. Section 9 had better pic quality. You should go ahead and dl eval and nameless cause section 9 has had a few months and still hasn't produced.

They didn't have the superior translation... they had the worst translation out of all the releases, but I agree... I think you can go on ahead and watch them since S9 is taking so long, as for me... I'll wait...

yeah the only reason their translation good cause their translater is not completely fluent in Japanese. they have a new translater username Kamesama and now the Assistant Translator is Guchi(username i think)(formal TRANSLATER the moron who is not completely fluent in japanese, and the web master said he was lazy and he didnt want to do anything no more so they join with Nameless Anime.)

was it just me, or was the ending a tad anti-climactic? i think if i was 10 years younger, i would've loved the fact that Coud found the lost song (psalm?) w/ Ren joining in but the lack of any real action in terms of finally being able to kick Chaos Choir's collective ass left me a bit disappointed.

Well you do have a point. I wasn't quite satisfied with that ending at all. I was at least hoping Coud would dawn Ren one last time to kick some serious ass, and she would evole resulting in Coud having a sword on each arm. Hopefully Erementar Gerad Blue will have a more promising ending.
