I watched the first ep. and I really have to say, as I read the first manga, that the group SHS_animeseal have done terrible translations. Sorry for being so blunt but that's the truth.


Oh the graphics were sub-par ... but the story line is okay

And yeah they agree with your assessment on the subbing quality, though since I didn't downloaded it yet I can't really comment any further than that. Was the second episode any better?

I think it's an OK series... it has some very funny parts, and there are just some terrible parts that you simply skip because they suck so much... i think from what I saw in episode 11, this might turn into something that's actually worth my 20 minutes a day because i have nothing else to watch

i never said i don't like it, it's simply that it's not good, but it's not that bad either... it's OK for me... and once i start something i like to finish it, i hate having an incomplete story about something...

well, for me, i used to have the time to watch everything and these days i don't really. plus, after watching in its entirety Full Metal Alchemist and Hajime no Ippo, i've been reminded about how much crap i'm watching now. so it's time for me to downsize my current list and start being picky again.

and i don't mind having an incomplete story especially if i find myself not caring too much about the storyline in the first place *shrug*

u're right, after ep 11, the show became tolerable. i still hope the chick dies somehow. she's definitely the one character i hate the most in all of my anime-watching =P

Mori was the only character that made it bearable in the beginning. She's hilarious. Maybe I like her because I liked Chrno Crusade and its the same seiyuu.

The series used to be more interesting because the people Ueki fought had better powers than he did but still had the same really stupid restrictions his did. They seem to be ignoring that now, so I'm a bit disappointed. Still a good series.

hmm... i don't like the voice at all. it's grating to my ears. plus her lines are soooooo stupid. the clincher was that ep when robert haydn appears for the first time. she's all like, "WATCH OUT UEKI!!!! DON'T MEET ROBERT HAYDN HEAD ON!!!!!!!!" and then "ROBERT HAYDN" this and "ROBERT HAYDN" that and then when the dude finally appears, she just looks at him and is like, "who's he?"

gaaahh!!!! i wanted to kill her. her character understands everything 2 episodes after i figure it out >_<;

enough complaining. this will be the last post u'll hear from me about the chick. the series got better after 11 eps or so. i'm actually kinda digging Tenko. and now all this fighting between middle schoolers has a bit more meaning now. the fact that ueki's out to beat up the jyuudan makes it interesting. also i'm wondering whether or not that girl w/ the glasses would actually switch sides (this guess is based on watching the intro).

Some things to wonder about... Does he have a different set of Secret Treasures? If he has a different set of Secret Treasures, will he be able to use both his and Robert's at the same time? Will he have the same power (the bubbles) as Robert?

Haha, having Tenko dying would've actually improved the quality of the series. Now we know that Ueki's gonna become a 9-star heavenly being on his own and kick everyone's ass. I predict that Inumaru's gonna become the God, Yocchan (if he's not traitor anymore) will be God's assistant and then Ueki and co. including Kobasen will live happily ever after.

I would say this is the first time I really enjoyed what I was watching in this series hahahaa i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif Sano's lvl 2 was great and Mori better not be shitting around. How does one figure out what one's own powers are? They all seem pretty random to me. I'm actually excited for the next ep. Will Mori cease her uselessness??! Stay tuned!

2 episodes earlier I thought that 7 eps to go was impossible, but now, when there are only 5 eps to go, it looks like they can end this series without rushing it or anything irritating. I hope that Shinsen will release them in a batch, so I can watch the end without cliffhangers :p.
It's mentally impossible for me to download an episode and save it untill the rest is done, unless they're naruto/Bleach-like fillers..

up to ep 43-- I never thought I'd say this but Mori's powers are pretty sweet... the conditions to fulfill them are well, hm... lame? hilarious? I suppose once her powers are active it's pretty much a sure win so a tough condition offsets that near invincibility.

And Sano's "dead" here. It's anime, y'know? They'll probably find out later that he's okay, alive and kickin' =P But this anime would go up several notches in my book if he actually does stay dead.

I still want to know what is up with Ueki's wings in the OP en ED...it doesn't seem to be something heavenly being-related, since nobody else has it. Maybe it's a by-effect of the time that Tenko had Ueki's powers with him. The coming eps are gonna be really sweet :)

Ending was alright. The series overall got good after like, 40 eps or so... then the last fight was sorta anti-climatic.... etc etc. Mediocre series overall, in my opinion.

The last fight was indeed anticlimactic, but the ending fit the series perfectly.
Overall I really liked this series for what it was. It was entertaining and nice to watch, even though the story wasn't very strong and some of the characters lacked depth.

I also read somewhere that there's a manga-sequel to this series.. is that true?

Just watched the last 10 or so episodes, well I liked the ending and the final fight was not anto-climatic in my opinion. It was an overall shitty series that I wouldn't recommend to anyone, but I'm glad I watched it... I enjoyed quite a bit of it, though I skipped a lot of useless scenes.
