As many of you heard, there's an OVA for Saikano comming up soon... I think it is a retelling of the old story....

Saw the preview, definatly looks like it's going to be interesting. Wonder how long it is..don't think i ever came across how many OVA episodes it has.

but i dont see Shuuji anywhere... i think this ova will be more focused on the War itself

It's not a retelling of the story. The Saikano OVA is supposed to explain how Chitose got her super powers because that was never explained in the series in detail. All we know is that she was a military science project, but beyond that it was a total mystery.

saishu heiki kanojo is the full japanese name.

I thought the first episode was okay. I like how everything seems to tie in together..like how the woman seems to fit into the picture.

I think I'll wait for ep 2 to come out in a month, the get both together. I've been waiting for this OVA for a while now. Why are they releasing one half at a time?
