question about Anime

i just finished downloading the first 30 eps of the anime

i was wondering if the anime shows the introduction of Luffy when he was younger,
the anime just starts out with albida (ive only skimmed through it a little)

yeah a couple of episodes in it will show luffy's past so don't worry about it not being there

yeah, i just saw it in ep 4
it was a little different than i was expecting

in the manga

luffy stabbed himself in the face to get the scar on his face to show that he was brave enough to become a pirate
but they didnt show him stabbing himself in the anime, im guessing that it might be too gory for the type of audience one piece is aiming for

yeah you're right that was disappointing, but most of the bloody action is left in just extreme things like luffy stabbing himself are left out, well you got you're answer i think mods can close this now
