Well, 3 episodes have been out by ANBU and Nanashi. I'd have to say that this seems like a pretty good alternative to Gundam. It's not as flashy, but it's still quite good.

i think this is a very interesting series...

I read some of the first posts in the animesuki thread....

You have to understand that there are two series (manga)... Jinki and Jinki:Extended...

the series seems to be jumping around...

the part of Jinki is the part you see at the present with Aoba...

Jinki:Extended is the other parts, which are in the future...

that's the summed up explanation... you can understand it better by reading it yourselves...

I watched ep1, have 2 and 3 but havent bothered to watch them. Think I'll wait for Star Ship Operators ep3 to come out and then watch them all.

yep mecha.... but you can't say really what's this show about yet... they are leaving us in the dark...

what you have to know is that a girl was kidnapped and taken to some sort of organization, in which she ends up training to fight...

Bud you just confused me i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif. I was thinking that the future parts were actually the past with her mom and those other 4girls. This show makes my head hurt.

If the story isnt alot better than what i think its a regular mecha, then its a waste of time cause the robots are toooo ugly and slow. If the story isnt something speciel then i can just start watching a gundam.

after 5 episodes it almost seems like evangelion with out-of-context characters.
i mean there's that shady council and some teen whose parent is trying to make her kill stuff with some machine, and the other pilots are omgsojealous.

Yeah, the story is getting a lil weird now. Hopefully it'll pick up or I'm going to stop watching this.

good episode if you ask me, i would say it is a turning point...

if you don't like it, i guess it was just not meant for you

Heh, at my brother's house and he won't let me download since it would use up some of his bandwidth, so can't watch episode 6 now.
It's not that the storyline is bad, it's just that it's a bit odd, not your normal anime storyline (well, from what I have read and seen). Hope you're right about the episode being a turning point.

well if you can't handle something different now and then what's the point of watching different anime... if you want a normal type storyline, why not watch the same crap over and over

just watched episode 7... it seems like the anime is starting to focus more in the present (future from Aoba)....

i really like the series... it seems that there are alot people that are not enjoying it... still i like it... it seems to have alot of psychos...

I just got caught up on this show and the last ep annoyed me how they skipped the cool Jinki fight and why do all the Jinki's beside the main one's look so cool.
