plz help me find something

im looking for some good anime plz help me by suggesting some i might enjoy
past anime ive enjoyed are

naruto
furi kuri
kenshin
hellsing
appleseed
shadow skill
tenjou tenge
paranoia agent
perfect blue (one of the best pychological anime in my opinion)
gun grave (even if it fell apart with all the necro garbage)
berserk
kai doh maru
yu yu hakusho
love hina
various others along the same lines i could be here all day if i named them all

im not really into mecha or the supernatural for the most part i like a few but mostly i like good psychological stuff and fighting (but not fighting with dodgey energy beams like dbz) a bit of philosophy and historys always good as well

if you could suggest some i may like plz do so and try to suggest complete series

Samurai 7 (the mecha use in here is limited, so don't get thrown off by it)
Otogizoushi (1-13 are the best 14-24 i havent watched, a different story)

Ayashi no Ceres

Bleach (it's supernatural shounen, but still you should enjoy it)

No one should ever be subjected to Serial Experiment Lain or boogiepop phantom.

On the other hand Full Metal Alchemist, Bleach, One Piece and Hunter X Hunter are all excellent.

Ayashi no Ceres is a anime that should only be used to pick up girls as all woman love it personally I found it way to graphic for my tastes at many parts.

What problems do you have wiht anime That question the existance of god or the after life. Lain and Phantom are great series. Weather or not oyu'll come out the other side intact is another question but both are series that should be watched.

If you're interested in philosophy and the afterlife try Haibane Renme. Not a lot of action, but a good series, and the ending will surprise you....

I'd like to second Lain (excellent exploration of technophobia) and Monster (my current favorite) and why hasn't anyone mentioned Trigun? If you liked Gungrave you will like Trigun (from the same group). Oh, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

For movies rent Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke, both excellent.

and g0at thanks but things like that and animeinfo and stuff arn't very objective finding the sort of thing your looking for in a list of thousands isn't easy the words needle and haystack come to mind

oh and i am a fan of trigun and gits suprised they wern't in the list

first couple of episodes won't seem like much... but in time you'll be hooked...
