forum being slow? we need a comp.

what the title and explanation says really why dont we post some competition proposals to bring these forums back to life a bit. they have been rather slow lately...

i suggest a new sig contest that would be awesome.

Anime screencap caption contest. The thread starter posts a pic and then people write a caption for said pic. The original poster then picks first, second and third place from the caption entries. The person that wins first then posts another picture and the process begins anew. If the winner does not post a screencap within a day or two then 2nd place will post the screencap and so on.

edit 1: ok... i don't think i made it clear. the rules are:

1. pick a forum member we've never seen a picture of. generally it's better to pick a 'popular' forum member for this competition for obvious reasons. and i will state the obvious reason anyway cuz a lot of you are stupid. the reason is that if we pick a no name member, it won't be as fun since that no name doesn't post as much so we won't get to ridicule that person as much and that person won't be around to suffer the ridicule.

2. draw the shit out of the person.

3. and the chosen person will post his/her pic after all the entries are in. then... the 'best' drawing wins!

I've seen it done at other forums (with far more people, mind you) and it seems to go smoothly. The people that post responses need to check back periodically to see whether or not it's their turn though.

Though... the more I think about it the more I realize that we can probably count on the same 3-5 people posting the pictures over and over again. i/expressions/rolleye.gif
