How would I make windows xp go into Ms-Dos mode so i can format my hard drive?
If not, how would i format my hard drive with windows xp.
When I run the command Prompt and then type:
C:\Document and Files.......>cd c: (inorder to get into the c drive directory....)
-----------
C:\>format c:
-----------
>>>Response i get: <<<
Do you wish to format this drive etc etc....
Y/N: Y(es)
Unable to format, and something about drive is in use, do you wish to force dismount:
Y/N: Y(es)
Cannot lock drive. Volume is still in use.
After browsign around I only saw that I have to have a MS-DOS boot up disk inorder to do this, But is there another way?
(Currently using 6 floppys inorder to use a boot up disc after format. i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif Dont really got more....)
