Can the Gameshark Media player play??

anyone here who own it? can it play divx or xvid codec by using the ps2 console? reason i asked is that i don't want to waste my money if it couldn't.

ummm if you can use the gameshark thing to do swap trick or if you have mod-chip there is a prog out for ps2 that lets you play divx and xvid on the ps2, its called ps2 reality player
