I started reading the manga (only read the first four vols though) before I watched the anime and personally, I think the anime is better overall...lets just say the bad guys are much cooler in the anime than they are in the manga...

Thats just my opinion, but I prefer the bad guys as huge demons, wheras in the manga I read they were just humans...most other things are probably better in the manga, but the demons and stuff were just so much cooler for me personally...

^ I can only give my opinion though, and my opinion on that is sometimes I like the manga is better (eg Ghost in the Shell, Akira, .hack//dusk), sometimes I like anime and manga equally (Gantz, Pet Shop of Horrors, X) and occasionally I prefer the anime more (Bubblegum Crisis, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Blood: The Last Vampire, Excel Saga (though I'm not far into the manga, I prefer the anime)).

I'm kinda the exception to the rule here but generally I prefer action and fast paced stuff to be animated...manga isn't usually quite as exciting for me for stuff like that. This all got discussed in another thread though....

Besides, manga or anime, fighting huge demons is more to my liking than fighting people any day i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif

i still don't understand why you ppl pick the manga over the anime? shouldn't the anime be better since it can move while the manga couldn't.

Yeah there is - and thats probably the main reason most people prefer manga over anime. But like I say, I liked the manga for the books I read, but I preferred the demon bad guys in the anime...
