record the sounds in a program. I would do it but it's troublesome.

No it's actually much easier than that. All you need is windows sound recorder to do it.
1. Go to volume controls
2. Go to recording section
3. Check "Wave Out Mix"
4. Play the sound and record with sound recorder

There is a lot of people answering your so called "rediculous question" because those question are asking for opinion.

Your should post your question in the Support Forum where technical people go. Your question is more of a technical question.

dunno if this is any help but if you want some real cool sound effects without interferance from any other sounds you can find them on the Nintendo Gamecube Japanese game Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen! 2 and I think 3 has them too, if anyone owns these game and they can connect to play their Gamcube through the PC then I think recording the sounds would be quite simple no? /shrug

hmm. or you should stop being lazy and record them yourself or look in kazaa or other music download but i think the first option's the best
