fantasy/rpg type animes

im looking for any fantasy/rpg type animes...something that involves magic, monsters, classes/vocations etc...

i've already seen:

Ragnarok the animation (sucked balls)
Louie the Rune soldier (i liked this...anyhting like this anime would be amazing),
Tales of Eternia (good, but wasn't dont properly)

if you guys know of any such anime, plz name then and provide a link is u can.

well there is that Chrono Trigger OVA but it was such a disappoinment.

If you like comedies, Slayers is fun rpg/fantasy anime. Bastard is also funny, but sometimes i was laughing at the anime, not with the anime.

Record of Lodoss War is very RPG-like, but i though it was boring.

animefreak: saw it already. it was good but the ending sucked.

Cyrano: i just finished watching the RoLW OVA...it was pretty good except teh 10th and 12th ep wouldn't fucking open. so i missed some important parts at teh end i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif.

i'll dl slayers and scrapped princess and check them out. if anything else comes to mind, let me know....i need to waste alot of time soon as exams end

I'd agree with finding Slayers, that was a good anime. If you want some more comedy, try Dragon Half. It's short, like 3 eps, but hilarious. Arc the Lad is based on a RPG of the same name, but I wasn't too impressed with the 6 eps I saw. Eden's Bowy was an OK fantasy anime, I've meant to finish it but haven't got around to it yet.

how about wild arms... it was also taken from the game, also try legend of basara and all .hack series. you mean a4e.... a4l is a fansub group that sucks...

and they dont have the slayers series... only the movies and ova...

i think anime-xtreme has all the tv series for slayers...

now El Hazard is pretty good... they have the first 2 OVAs which are very good... only thing missing would be the 2 second tv series ( i suggest you skip the first tv series since it sucks and it has about the same content as ova 1)
