so i tried out halo 2
seems interesting

but the coolest thing (havent tried it yet) is that you can have more than 2 players for coop mode!

One thing I was excited for up until it was canned was a proposed Online 4 Player Co-Op, with Legacy being absolutely borderline impossible to beat even on Co-Op. Now, I'll still get it simply b/c I got my dad addicted to FPS games + the fact he loves scifi stuff, but I'm disappointed about no online Co-Op. I've never been great at console FPS games, but I'm still glad it has Live support.

personally, I think Metroid is really overrated. I never cared much for Prime. I'd rather play Fusion and Zero Mission, thank you very much. Keep Metroid in 2D!

Going to the one for Halo 2, undecided between picking up a few other games. Want the Metroid really bad, but I need to get my dad Call of Duty for Xmas and stepbro Need for Speed: Underground 2 as well. All depends on how my new job I start in less than 2 weeks treats me.

I agree, metroid prime was a great game and im waiting until the second one comes out but i still think halo2 will be the best

to be honest, Ive never been a fan of the halo series. it has a great story, but none of the graphics, gameplay,vehicles, or multiplayer were all that revolutionary. the story was the only thing that hadnt been done before. it's still a fun shooter, but nothing special.

i will admit that co-op on halo 2 is some thing that could make or break the game. there arent enough co-op action games out there, and if they do it right than i could respect it more. Unfortunately my speculation is that it will be done the cheap way: story revolves around 1st player and the 2nd just runs around and shoots stuff. if the 2nd character is incorperated into the storyline this will be the next greatest shooter, but i doubt it.
