Burn them to a DVD. You'll need a DVD burner, of course. And DVD-Rs. And Money. Burning Anime gets EXPENSIVE.

yes, but how.
for example someone was asking about burning the naruto movie, and dvd decrypter was recommended.
i downloaded that and tried to use it as suggested, but the naruto episode files do not show up as recongnized files unless i change the tye of file to "all files" which makes me think something is not quite right. also, it would not let me choose more than one file. i am not going to waste a dvd for each episode.
tell me what to do!

Well, First you would need to convert all your files from whatever format they are into .VCD. Now .VCD format can play on all DVD player's and its fairly simple to do. All you need is a normal cd burner and the burning program NERO. After you get nero on your computer (if you don't all ready have it) just select .VCD format from the list of options that are shown on it and let the program do it's stuff. i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif

Yep it's easy, Nero does it all for you if you select "Create a VCD" or whatever it is from the menu. You should be able to fit about 3 episodes per CD-R.

vcd quality sucks......There are some ppl who can compress 13 episodes in one dvd-r, and the picture is greats!!! I wonder how they do that?

The quality of my anime VCDs is perfect, I'm not complaining at all. But that's me.
EDIT to below: Yes, Nero.

isn't nero encode the picture to a mepg1?

yes nero does encode it to a mpeg1...
but there are other programs which you can encode it yourself to increase the quality, but even if you burn it on a vcd, it will still have the same vcd quality

True, But Nero takes to long to encode files so I just use my own program.

just one hour for me i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif i dont think its that long.
but it sucks... i cant really burn vcds no more since my nero isnt compatible with my dvd burner, so i have to use this other program. but at least i get to have dvd quality.

Another alternative that would answer your question lies in this site: http://onlinestore.jetaudio.com/
The TivX machine. You can put various media files on it and play them on your TV.
...........Or you can play around with graphic cards that can use a usual TV as a monitor.
