You can always get the VLC Player. VLC Player (http://www.videolan.org). I believe that this player can support pretty much any kind of video file (.avi, .ogm, etc.)

[DO]

It doesn't matter what media player you get. You need to also get the correct codecs, Whatever you do; DO NOT get a codec pack they are overkill for your system.
