What you guys think of this new comedy series? I heared it was made by the creators of Azumanga Daioh so it was obvious that it would be good i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif

I haven't seen it yet, I hear it's good. It was described to me as what Azumanga Daioh would be like if there were male characters in it aswell (well, besides the perverted teacher). I hope a good fansub group decides to do it.

what i have read of it; it is funny as...wont say anymore...and i also only have the first 16 chapters. and there is like 70 give or take. so far translated that i know of. i havent been bothered to get the rest yet.

This series is quite funny so far. This is the first time I can remember a main female character falling for a guy who has a bow cut hair style. Kenji, the delinquent, is kind of funny, although his character so far, I have no feeling of sorrow or sympathy for him yet. I will have to wait a couple more episodes to see if this is a good series or not.

From what i've read of the manga so far, its got its funny moments, but like most romance comedies i'm finding myself with a kind of deja vu feeling with the awkward love triangles.

I thought dash did a nice job on the OP and ED, the stuff in between was pretty much the same imo.

Edit: oh yeah, is Tenma's sister older or younger than her? Is the -san after onee-san something you add when you address elders?

Another Edit: Just watched episode 3, found out its her little sister. Oh yeah be sure to watch AFTER the credits. theres an additional episode at the very end.

I would like to know your opinions regarding the work of A4L on school rumble?
and which among the 3 subbers (A4L, Wannabe Fansub or Dash) did the best in terms of translation, video and audio quality, consistency?

i need everybody's opinion if possible...

as far as I know Dash does a pretty detailed sub and I can't really complain about the video and audio quality....it seems fine to me
WF has some good details in their subs, i find their little comments from time to time also pretty funny...
I don't watch the A4L subs though...
eventually i'll have to decide on one sub to burn off...i'll probably choose dash...( i like detail! lol ) i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif

No, I think A4L is still doing it. But they're slow. WF is pretty good.

i know that many prefered dash's sub and right now their working on the succeeding episodes but they're slower. WF is definitely faster subbing this title and i heard that the drawback to their work is bad translation and timing of the karaoke. I have not watched WF version... and i like to know from those who have watched WF version if the rumors about their bad translation is really true?

I know it's not officially licensed ,but will fansubbers continue the project?. They were just stating they do not want people distributing the anime. It may not be licensed in the U.S. ,but a law firm representing Media Factory wants people to discontinue working on it.

with one fansub team on the job, they hold a monopoly on it (be thankful someone did pick this up!). So your other options are to watch the raws and read the scanlations or just wait

I do like the idea of Harima with Yakumo..seems like they would be a good match but since much of the anime's comedy thrives on Harima's mishaps and his and other's misconceptions, probably unlikely, plus he is obsessed with Tenma...unless he moves on =x.
