all the ninjas from all the villages seem to use jutsus related to directly or indirectly the name of there country (there are a few exceptions however such as kurankouru (bad sp) why oh why is sasuke the ONLY genin and i do believe the only ninja from the whole village apart from the third who has actually used a fire technique. why is there no mass amnipulation of techniques involving fire similar to feats shown by gaara, temari ect. i know in the interest of keeping the base characters interesting they have to be diverse but isnt it weird that none of the ninjas use fire extensivly?

Ok tsunade sama it is quite obvious that you are writing Sasuke as suske on pupose. In the one topic you made, you spelled it sasuke. So why are you trying to act so stupid?

Some of the ninja's that were fighting the giant snake during the invasion were shooting flamethrowers at it.

for sasuke, its actually explained a little more later in the series.....not a big deal or anything though

there have been others using fire jutsus, like the 3rd, jiraiya, orochimaru, and some random jounins too.

also keep in mind, that konoha specializes in leaf and shadow type jutsus as well
leaf spinning kick
some other leaf kick
the log replacement
kage bunshin
kage mane
shadow neck bind

if you're talking about the genesis technique with the huge tree, that would be the 1st's technique

Looks like he covered this pretty well. Jiraiya did use a fire jutsu in the sennin battle. Hokage also used a fire technique on nidaime. Yup that about sums it up.

When the sound and sand ninja's attacked Konoha, the leaf ninja's did use fire Jutsu.

I guess the environment around the villages make certain jutsus easier to learn. Sand village is in the desert, so it's easier to learn sand jutsus. Mist village is always foggy, so it's easier to learn mist jutsus.
Sound village...well sound village has a lot of drunks that shout all the time, so it's easier to manipulate sound waves.

that is a awesome sig but to stay on topic I think that the sroundings might have an effect on the moves. If you live in the snow are you going to use sand no their isn't any to use, what about hidden villege of rain you ask your all carring kasa so way not turn it in to an atack.
