The anime so far is doing pretty good- I'm a huge fan of the manga, and its looks like they are forshadowing things quote a bit more in the anime.
I also like the way theyve chaned things up with the soul burial, its not as violent as in the manga. The shows just getting started, and I like the nods to all the characters not released in the anime yet in the opening credits. Cant wait to see some of the REAL fights that happen later, and you manga fans know what I mean.
Anyone else notice the family clinic seems alot more organized, let alone bussier, than in the manga?
I am glad to see they kept Rukia's drawings a crappyas ever. Now just hurry up and introuduce Kon! Every show needs a whipping boy.

It's supposed to be like a joke why chad/sado has two names. Ichigo just sorta started calling him that, and everyone else does too. Or they say something like that in the manga.

I enjoy the little changes from the manga so far. For instance, in episode 4, there was a fight with Ichigo and another student that was replaced with a short snippet of how hard Chad is by taking Ichi's beating.

In the first episode, there was a second Hollow added to the original story. I felt that fleshed the story out a little more, as far as how Ichigo's first encounter with a Hollow came to be. I honestly have 0 complaints about the series, they've nailed the good points, especially Rukia's shitty drawings. It's got the latent humor to it as well, the only thing I do miss is the sometimes excessive blood. But it is definitely quality shit, for certain.

And oh my god, is it nice. This show is just coming along at a speeding freight train pace of goodness, so all aboard kids. =b

Episode stayed nice, I feel it has an excellent mix of humor, action, and character. I'm waiting on the stuff beyond the introduction of Kon. The preview looks nice too, although I don't know if it'll be a one-parter or two. I'd be definitely happy with a two, but it'd require a lot of expanding on the existing story, which I'm a fan of with everything they've done from manga-to-anime adaptations. The first big arc is coming soon. It should start sometime this month, considering a lack of deviations from the manga, and that'll begin a good month's worth of fun there easily.

At first I thought the first hollow looked a bit cartoony but the hollow in ep 4 an 5 was much better, thier faces are just strange to me, almost to simple, oh well, excellent series, I hope it runs for more than 26. It's Shounen, so it's going to be a hoss of a show. Considering the opening title has things in it (no spoilers) that won't happen for at least 15-20 episodes, and that those things go on for awhile, I would safely say it is going to be a long series. I'd say at least a good 70-80, minimum, if they run with the manga stuff (which they are doing quite well with)

The are lots of arcs, this is the fourth one the way I view them, (Intro, Orohime arc, Chad arc, current one). There are about four arcs after this in the manga, and they only get longer and longer.

I'm not gonna spoil anything for anyone, so if you're want to know anything more than this, read the manga.

i really love the opening by orange range for bleach....though GO! from naruto is pretty sweet, but they are both kickass shows, but naruto is a little slower. Bleach is uber awesome and eveyone loves the punkish attitude.

Damn it ANBU/Keep still hasn't released episode 6. I watched 2 minutes of Lunar sub and stopped because the translations are just so different. I don't know which group is wrong, but since I watched the first 5 from Anbu/Keep I'm used to their translations.

Already watched 7, it looks like there's either some deviations from the manga, or some stuff from a later arc is about to kick into gear sooner. The next episode, should it stay true to the manga, should be at least 3-4 episodes, then we start getting to the meat of the series. Within 12 episodes, I'd say we should start seeing stuff on the guy from the credits who has the bow and arrow made of light (his name is Q*****), which is when all hell shall break loose. Heh, well, no, because it'll be doing that starting next week. The next chapters are real nice, not anything to hate in it.

I like the lunar translation better becuse it's more literal and for this series literal is going to better than practical. So I would say give up waiting for anbu/akeep. But yeah i think thye might compress stuff to make ther series at least a 50 ep maybe a 63 ep series.

The series is OK so far, but seems to be more character than plot driven. There are a lot of unique characters (the shopkeeper and his employees, Ichigo's family and classmates, and yeah, Chad is cool) but no overall arc so far, and the next ep looks like more backstory... Still enjoyable to watch, though.

Hehe, definitely get used to it. I sincerely doubt there will be one episode that has a clean, no-ties ending. The end of this arc leads into another quick little arc, then comes The Beginning Of What You Will Call The Shit. This arc here will probably be at least 2-3 episodes, maybe 4. Can't say for sure, since a little of this episode is different (and I do not mean that in a complaining way at all) from the manga, so it's possible that they could be trying to draw this arc out a little more. Either ways, it's not going to stop being a great show, from how I feel about it.

I would say one more ep and this mini arc is over. Four to five for twener stuff between the Beginning Of what You will Call the Shit arc and the one now. This series will run at least 52+ eps. Depends how much they compress the series down for TV.

I can't say I really see them employing the Rurouni Kenshin style arc'ing to it, but I wouldn't mind it. Really depends on what is done with the manga, how close it ties in, and if they explore independent stories/ideas or not. But I feel this arc is at least two episodes, at the least. The next mini-arc is going to be pretty cool. After that, it will become The Shit.

Thats one of the big problems with everyone thats a manga fan discussing what they know happens in the manga, spoiling what may happen in the series.

I think the series is coming alomg great, but its feels like its missing something though. I think the animation could try to look a little more like the manga i guess.
I hated the art in bleach at first- everyone as too skinny and lanky, but its grown on me after awhile and I guess I want to see the charactes look more like the manga. Especialy Ruika- it just seams like part of her character is missing, not finished.
I love they way theyve handled kon though- hes one of my favorite characters.
Does anyone else thats a manga fan feel like theyve inserted alot of eplanitory secenes and extra characters that dont ruin the show, but kind of dumb it down a litlle bit?
