hi im new help, i love anime and i came to get some anime here but how do i download it and stuff

Welcome to the Gotwoot and the anime download scene! There are many ways that you can get anime online, but I would suggest going with good old Bittorrent. Bittorrent is a p2p program that uses a system of downloading and uploading to transfer information between people. The more seeds there are for a torrent file, the more people are sharing the file itself. To use Bittorrent, here is what you have to do. First download a Bittorrent client. I would suggest the Official Client (http://bittorrent.com/download.html) for beginners. After you have installed the client, you now must find torrent files for the anime you want. There are many places you can get anime on the web (such as Gotwoot itself), you just need to search. I will give you a couple of sites to start off with and then you can search for other ones for the specific anime you want. First is AnimeSuki (http://www.animesuki.com/), which specializes in unlisenced anime (anime that hasn't been licensed in the U.S). Then, there is SuprNova (http://www.suprnova.org) which is a universal Bittorrent source that has anime and much more. The last site is Mirkx (http://www.mirkx.com) which has the latest anime and manga that is out. Once you have found an anime you want, right click the link for the torrent file and go to "Save As." Save the torrent file to your computer and then double-click it, which will open up the Bittorrent client. Then save where you want your anime to be saved, and then you are done. You just have to wait for the download to complete and you should be ready to watch your anime! Make sure you leave your download screen up for a while so you can share the anime you downloaded for others. Other than that, enjoy the world of Bittorrent!

P.S: There are ways of making Bittorrent faster if you would like. If you have a router, tell me the type and model number and I'll show you something called "port forwarding" which will make your Bittorrent download much faster. Hope I could help.

P.S.S: Also, to get anime from Gotwoot itself, go to the mainpage, and then go to the "Torrents" section where you will find a lot of anime.

thanks stos289, ummm i think i have a router cause my dad talks about it, but i dont know wat it looks like so i cant tell u the model number and stuff
