I plan on slowly replacing my whole collection with TW...I have up to 52, and 53 is on the way!

I like their tranlations, word choices and sub color much better than any other subber out there. Highest quality sub, no doubt. Thanks for the update!

I compared it to ANBU&AonE's release, but they really aren't that good anymore. They take ages to release something that is nice, but not as great as the other releases. Now that ANBU and AonE split up, both groups' quality improved a lot making TW look like a speedsub.

Too slow. I only keep the most recent 30 episodes because my harddrive only has 24 gigs left. If they can release on a regular basis then I might consider it.

Why not writing them to CD / DVD? Or buy an additional HDD, those things are cheap these days.

I've got my first 50 or so eps in TW. I love their subs, plus the coloring/font is easier to read.

To tell you the truth, I only keep the episodes to boost my DC++ shares. I only watch them once anyways. They get me a good 6 gigs.

My favorite subbers are Aone right now... I don't really like some of Anbu's translations choices - such as the "Punk'd" thing in the last episode.

And TW... well, they started me on Naruto as well, but they are going far too slow and have a few translation mistakes here and there. So I stick with Aone.

I guees it is taking them that long because theyre not intersted anymore. But from time to time they say "Hey, you want to sub another episode of naruto" "Alrighty"...
Then they sub one episode...and every thing going really slow.

If you pay that much for an internal hard drive someone needs to beat you to death with a frozen mackeral on your front lawn. Even for an external usb drive that's a little more than you need to spend.

If I'm not mistaken, external costs more... and of course the price is jacked up because isn't firewire the best connection possible? I'm not sure with computers, but I was in a Video Production class, and we had to learn about all the RCA - Coaxal and all the connections (don't want to name them all) but I was told that the best was firewire and it was digital (with camera's anyways)

Personally, my opinion on the matter is this.

If you aren't either A. the fastest subber, or B. The best quality subber, then there is no reason for you to even bother doing it unless you can offer something that other subbers don't.

You know what I'd like to see a subber do? DVD compatible subs. Sure, they will probably be much slower, but if a subber took the time to add the frames and change the file format to something that plays in normal DVD players, I'd download their episodes just for that, so I could watch Naruto on my TV. And even though the files end up alot larger, I'll be burning them to a disc anyway so they won't be hanging around my HD.

but then you'll only have like, 5 episodes per dvd
which means over 20 dvds!

the best approach, is to just build a basic pc with a dvd-rom drive and tv-out, and use that instead i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif

That's not true. I have episodes 1-73 or so, all on 4 DVDs. I bought it on Ebay, and the episodes are the fansubbed ones. Not those shitty HK subs. (which aren't that bad, really)
