Little known linguistic fact: Since language is always changing, it is not dictionaries but language speakers who dictate what is correct. Therefore if you are a native speaker of a language, you are the authority on it and anything you say is correct. Tell you what. Ask your Highschool/College English teacher if using the word "stupider" is something that's considered intelligent in any given discussion. He or she can explain much better than I can. =)
