Please check the program that I've been working on for several months and have just released.
It includes most of the features found in SSA and some that are not.

Hmm... So does this program save files with extensions .ssa? Or something completely different? And if so how will it be used with virtual dub for encoding? Are you making a filter for vdub/avs for encoding purposes?

It uses .ssa / .ass as its file format so it can be used exactly like SSA.

Hmm... So I can use it EXACTLY like how I use my ssa. As in... using hotkeys while i'm timing an episode. Like... "g" is for grab times and such.

I just released 0.11 BETA which should have the same shortcuts that people are accustomed to using in SSA.
