codec help

i just downloaded teh spiderman 2 torrent from suprnova, but they're "vobfiles"

anyone know what those are and what i need to either play them, or open them up, if they're a compression format.


names of specific players or links to codecs would be really nice.

I think vobfiles are raw dvd files... taken straight from the dvd they were copied from. I don't know how to play them, try power dvd or something. DOn't you have some sort of control file? Try burning them on to a DVD and then plug it into your pc.

these are all the files in the torrent...i have no idea how to run any of them

i'll try powerdvd, but as for the burning part, i dont have a dvd burner or player :<
