Sakura vs. Hinata

As a lot you differ in your love/hate between these two, let's hear what you have to say.

Who would win between a fight between the 2? Who would win 5 years down the road? Who is Naruto better suited to hook up with? Who is just better period? Who do you like/hate more?

If you haven't figured it out already, I would definitely choose Hinata. She is the more caring one and definitely stronger than Sakura. Five years down, she will still beat Sakura. Since Sakura is so Sasuke-kun crazed, she should never hook up with Naruto (she hurt him so many times). Overall, Hinata is just the better person.

Well, obviously Hinata would beat the hell out of Sakura, even though she'd be nice about it, I mean she has Byakugan, and she went toe-to-toe with Neji (though she didnt make out too well there). As far as w/ Naruto, she is much nicer and obviously likes him, but she needs to get some balls (ovaries?). But dont you think that white eyes thing is kinda weird? Most of you guys hate Sakura because she's always saying "Sasuke-kun, Sasuke-kun".... what's so different from Hinata always saying "Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun"... i think that people that use that as an argument to hate Sakura and like Hinata it's pretty weak...

As for Hinata being more caring.... i have to disagree... Has she once visited one of her classmates on the hospital? I dont think so... In contrast Sakura has visited everyone (i think) daily, bringing them flowers and support... even Rock Lee who isnt part of her class or team....


And if you are gonna hate Sakura for having a crush on Sasuke, why not hate Naruto for having a crush on her?

I'm not sayin it because I hate Sakura, but there is no way she could beat Hinata. Hinata uses the special Hyuuga Taijutsu style which is like the most powerful in konoha, I think. All I've ever seen Sakura do is the replacement. About thee crushes, i guess Sakura is more annoying because u see her every episode, saying the same thing, while for hinata you don't. I dunno

Because Sakura's entire character is about sasuke. Naruto likes Sakura a lot, and wants to be with her or whatever but Sakura is completely upsessed with Sasuke. And she doesn't even aknowledge Naruto even after he's become such a good ninja.

I'd have to go with Hinata on this one. I used to empathize with Sakura, as a girl who is relatively good at school stuff but sucks at a lot of other things. However, I've been getting more and more annoyed with her attitude. I think she could be a good ninja if she tried, but she doesn't. All her attacks are very basic and predictable. I've never seen her taking any initiative on her own to train, or learn some new moves.

Hinata, although she has really low self esteem, is actively trying to improve herself. She is much more caring and considerate of other people and I think that she has a lot of potential, much more than Sakura. Even at their current levels, I think Hinata could beat Sakura, and Hinata is only going to get better.

Definitely Hinata is better for Naruto. She doesn't punch him, or get angry with him when he does something stupid. A key factor in a relationship is to be patient and forgiving with each other. Hinata can do this very well.

Hinata doesn't go around saying "Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun" all of the time. She keeps her crush quiet, and doesn't make it the center of her existence. Also, Naruto isn't a dick like Sasuke is. He's more deserving of having a crush on him in the first place.

But definately she would kick Sakura's ass... although Sakura's intelligence will enable her to learn more complicated justus in the future i think... but Hinata's bloodline will make it almost irrelevant....

Anyways... you have to remember that it all comes down to outsmarting your opponent, it's not always have to do with being the strongest.... one mistake and you'll see a fist through your heart...

take Shikamaru for example... and even Naruto... Shikamaru has won up to this point with crappy jutsus but outsmarting the opponent... same goes to Naruto, enven though he does use Kyubi most of the times, he always outsmarts the opponent... at least he did to Neji

We really only see Hinata when Naruto is around, so we see her act shy towards him. Also, for Hinata, Naruto is a source of inspiration. Remember her fight with Neiji? His presence there made her feel better about herself. That's something positive. Sakura, on the other hand, is simply obsessed with Sauske, spending all of her time thinking about a very one-sided relationship and getting nothing out of it.

Kagamane no jutsu isn't crappy, it's a technique you haveta be smart to use. It's actually one of the better JUTSUs of the show.

I don't see how watching Sakura not give a shit about Naruto when he returned to Konoha after he fucking saved her life doesn't piss you off.

How often during the last arc, when they were looking for Tsunade and Naruto was trying to learn Rasengan, did he think about Sakura? Or when he was trying to learn the summoning technique? Yes, Naruto has a crush on Sakura, but it hasn't stopped him from focusing on other things suck as a fight or training. He also Also, Naruto probably has ADD, so he's just sort of oblivious to some things (Hinata, at times).

On your first argument... it all comes down to gender roles.... woman usually care more about love and taking care of the love one... while the males are more preocupied for becoming stronger, in the case of Naruto his first priority is becoming Hokage...

On your second point you are right about that... but you are making Hinata look like a hypocrite... only loving someone because you can get something out of the relationship... what happened to unconditional love?

The problem with Hinata is that she rarely speaks up even when she needs to... on a rare occation she steps up, but it was all because Naruto was supporting her... she has ways to go... one thing is being silent because you prefer to only speak when needed to, and being silent because you are afraid... which just makes you pathetic...

Sakura could have told Naruto "Thank you" right when she found out. It took her a while, when she was going to bring some goods to Sasuke to finally remember about Naruto. Let's face it, she is so Sasuke crazed that she can't think about anything else (probably didn't say anything to Naruto when Sasuke told her because she was with Sasuke-kun).

Back on topic, Hinata is just better period. She at least thinks about her team-mates (Naruto and Kiba fight). Sakura waits until someone almost dies before realizing she needs to visit him. She is always after the fact.

Oh, and Hinata is not a hypocrite. She liked Naruto before he became inspiration for her. It's just an added bonus of knowing Naruto.

Unconditional love isn't always healthy. What about women who still love their men even though they beat them? A good, healthy relationship benefits both people on some level. I keep hearing, in defense of Sakuira's actions that its understandable because she "loves" Sasuke. That, by itself takes her down a few notched in my book. What has sasuke ever really done for her personally? He has basically only told her to shut up or called her annoying. At least hinata has a reason to continue liking Naruto, I mean he has encouraged her and all that. I know somebody will be like "well, why does naruto have a crush on Sakura then" but his crush on her is much different than her crush on sasuke. Sakura....has knowledge in Genjutsu (well we've only seen her dispel it, not use it), basic Kawarimi no Jutsu, and a mean set of teeth for biting.

The point was, Sakura could of thank Naruto as soon as she found it. She had the chance to then, but was too into Sasuke to do it. When she finally did think of him, it was an afterthought from thinking about Sasuke.

Also, Sakura visited Sasuke every day. She had no determination to actually try and learn a way to help him. Since she is so studious, why didn't she go and look up some medical books to try to find a way to help? All she did was pout by his side. As for visiting Lee, he helped her first, and she finally acknowledges him to visit him once after Sasuke was recovered. What about all those months when Lee was suffering?

At this moment in time, if I met a person like Sakura, I would probably try to avoid her. Hinata may be shy, but she is aware of those around her. She did not visit her team mate in the hospital because she was in it herself after her fight with Neji. Also, she does not get enough camera time for us to see who she visits. She does train, try hard, and actually wants to get better. She also interacts with everyone in her group more often than Sakura would with Naruto.

Also, one more thing, Sakura does not love Sasuke. She is infatuated with him.

I don't really consider Sakura that caring of a person, especially the first time when she said that crap about Naruto being the way he was because he had no parents, not only was that hurting Sasuke when she said that, it was an insult, and like stated she hardly thanks Naruto for what he's done, her streight focus is always on Sasuke first even though Sasuke dosen't really give her the time of day. -_- and basically giving Lee hand me downs, stuff she meant to give Sasuke but makes it seem it was for Lee when she gives it to him

I also agree with thundrakkon that is more infactuation than love, actually its more like selfish love than anything else. The fact that Sasuke hardly has done anything to give her the notion that he is interested her, especially in the beginning yet she still is that annoying about him shows that's just selfish love, you could also call it an obsession because thats what it's like as well, or all three of them but it's not like how Hinata feels for Naruto it's just infactuation/selfish love/obsession.

and when you were saying that she got beat up for him in the forest, if I remember correctly she was trying to protect Naruto and Sasuke cause i remember her saying "i have to protect them" or something like that, so it wasn't for her so called love for Sasuke then her trying to help her team mates then.

On topic if you had Sasuke and Naruto watching those two fight even more so Hinata would be the winner. Hinata is motivated by Naruto and fights with all she has when he's watching, all Sakura would be thinking about would be "oh I want to look cool for Sasuke"

Aww come on. Hinata would be the living shit out Sakura, apoligizing profusely during the process. Who's better overall? Still Hinata. Sakura is a Sasuke obsessed freak. Her problem isn't that she's in love with Sasuke, but that she's so deeply Obsessed with him that it debilitates her to the point that she's now qualified to recieve social security income. My problem, is that that obsession is thrown in my face every motherfucking time she's shown on the screen. The same is not true with Hinata. If she's "obsessed" with Naruto, she's used it as an inspiration to become better, or at least show some guts and take a beating that demands respect. Sakura's obsession netted her nothing. Also, I've seen Hinata being useful to her team, and actually training, even if her knuckles left blood on a padded tree. Ever seen Sakura being useful? Ever seen her training other than the tree exercise (which to her wasn't really training since she was already good at that). I for one can't remember seeing either one of those situation.

She's done a little bit about it. She smacks trees. A lot of the times you see her, she's doing something training related, even if she's annoyingly soft about it. You want to see Hinata improve? Have Kishimoto replace Sakura as the main girl in the series and you'll see it happen. As of right now, we just don't see her enough to be able to tell that she did or didn't improve. Want to see Sakura improve? Kill Sasuke. Don't hold your breath for that to happen. Even then, smart money says that instead of improving for vengence, or whatever other reason, she goes into shock and kills herself with a spoon.

I can just see it happening now. Although she's technically supposed to be smart, she's blinded by her stupid puppy love thing for Sasuke. And she just has book smarts anyway, which really amounts to crap in a battle where you would need "street smarts" as I'd put it like Naruto or Sasuke.

Hinata would definately win. Sakura might have a chance if she actually had something worth fighting for like Naruto (recognition/hokage) or Sasuke (revenge). But neither really have anything worth fighting for so far in the series.

Yea, and the only reason she tried during the fight with ino is because of their whole childhood rivalry and everything. if she had fought tenten or hinata she wouldve just laid down and died.

Well if i remember correctly Hinata was herself in the hospital and hade probably just been checked out of the hospital after we saw here with Kiba and Shino when Kiba was "just taking a walk"..

So she could not visit anyone.. Maybe someone should have visited her.. Damn Sakura.. Could not even visit a fellow Shinobi that have gone to school togheter ^^

Well for the topic.. Hinata would win.. She is pretty good as a shinobi unlike Sakura.. But i saw someone say that Hinata would hit those spots that stops chakara (yeah yeah, whatever).. Hinata cant see those.. It was only Neji that could.. But she is still more superior than Sakura..

But in 5 years Hinata will have moved up and probably be a good medic-ninja but Sakura will have quit sence she relise that she is good-for-nothing or Sasuke have been raped by Itachi and and Sakura se no point in being a Shinobi sense she only seems the be that to be close to Sasuke..

Well i dont hate Sakura because she loves Sasuke.. I hate her because that is all she can do.. "Sasuke-kun".. Even if Hinata loves Naruto she still trains on her own and everything is not about Naruto.. She still have a life.. Sakura only go where Sasuke is.. When Sasuke was in bed she ONLY was by Sasuke's side or she was out buying flowers so she could go to Sasuke again.. When Sasuke go somewhere she follows and worship the ground he walks on.. The ONLY thing she is good for is to say "Sasuke-kun" or to cry because something with Sasuke..

Needless to say i hate Sakura because she is good-for-nothing and pisses me of every time she appers and open her mouth.. Well i guess i have explained my reason to hate Sakura ^^

It's obvious that Hinata would win the fight because
Sakura does not have any god jutsu really she isint good at anything really
and if Hinata would get some selfconfidence as she propaly will get 5 years down the road.

Naruto should defenitly hook up with Hinata because she much more nice n' cute

I wonder what Kabuto would say about both Sakura and Hinata. He did say that Naruto was worthless and had no potential to be a ninja. I wonder if he has more respect for Sakura since she knows her jutsus and has good chakra control. He did save Hinata out of the kindness of his heart, so he must have some value for her.

Anyways, Hinata at the moment owns Sakura in a heartbeat. Sakura has no decent Ninjutsu.

Sakura tends to be useless. She does things after they happen, and even when she tried to fight, she still lost horribly. She doesn't train, and is to lovesick over Sasuke to do anything. Hinata on the other hand trains to become better, although not the strongest, she would still own Sakura fast.
