I thought it stayed pretty true to the original films. It's worth the watch. I give it three and half stars outa five.

i don't remember it being a musical in the original films, although its been like 7 yrs since i saw them.

i loved this movie was bloody gr8 and at the end lol that was just bloody weird but good!

A remake of Zatoichi! Sweet! I hope it's as good as the originals. I rented a couple of them a few years ago and they were pretty good, even though some were black and white. The one with Zatoichi and the chessmaster was my favorite. I always thought a blind masseuse who was secretly a kick-ass samurai was a pretty weird idea, but it works. I'll definately have to see this movie, and if you haven't seen the original movies I'd reccomend them i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif

Edit to below: It's actually a series of movies, I've seen 4 but I don't know how many there are total...

I saw the original on tv a couple of weeks ago, thought it was really good, thankfully itll be worth it to pay 7 dollars to see it
