any word on a new op?

I'm expecting a new opening either on episode 100 (cuz it's one of those anniversary numbers) or episode 104, to keep in line with the new opening every 26 episodes. Haven't the slightest clue what the intro's going to contain other than some rock song and naruto characters.

Wow what made you think that would happen in the new op. i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif, but it better be sooner than 104, like 100 that would be good, and who knows it might be a slow song

GO! is a great opening. Its just as good as Haruka Kanata. And the next OST to come out should be really good I hope.

The new opening will likely premiere within 10 episodes and it will definately contain the you-know-who characters from the you-know-what country. Hopefully matched with an awesome song.

About 104 (4) being an unlucky number. Well, 4 is indeed an unlucky number for them. But 104 and 4 is not the same number. i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif

Ah, seems like the counting here is wrong to me.
As I recall, from 1-25, Hound Dog had that intro.
From 26-53, Asian Kung-Fu Generation (best song out of all the intros/outros IMO)
From 54-77, Little By Little
From 78-present, Flow

As you can see, there is no specific numbering formula for the intros. The only thing I can say is that a new intro will be coming out within the next 10 episodes.

Actually I can see there is a specific numbering forumula. Most animes change their intros based on seasons and in this case it's every 2 seasons ie 26 episodes. Now episode 52 got a new ending but not a new intro until two episodes later which was a fluke. Whether they were late with the new intro and didn't finish it in time I dunno, but it was only two episodes later which is close enough.
