Hi all! I saw there's no thread for Shaman King. How do you think of it? I think it kicksss asses i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif Although the drawing style is quite simple it looks cool, the animations are cool, the story is cool, the chars are cool i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif

shman king is somewhere on pokemon's level for me so i don't really think highly of it i just stopped after a couple of eps i really didn't like it

na' Shaman King is way above pokemon's level... pokemon is in a league by itself when you are talking about kiddie shit...

Shaman King was enjoyable... in fact I really liked it alot when it came out...

It was nice, until the damn tournament started...
most of the charecters were boarding betwen super boring and exteremly enjoyable, Ryu is my favorite, i hate Yoh and Manta, the rest are ok...

Well I'm downloading it now because I have nothing better to do... someone feel like telling me what I have ahead of me?
Does this show have super-powers & shit or what is it all about? I don't know anything except that it's supposedly good.

This show was okay. It basically has a bunch of spirits and people partnered up who fight each other. The fights and comedy was pretty good. The one thing that I didn't like was the ending...just plain horrible.

Did you get Hajime no Ippo already? You should before getting this, it's way better

wow, after i've started reading shaman king managa, the anime seems even more stupid...
not to say the manga is great, just that the anime was lacking about 70% of the content...

Already been said but here it is again:

The manga is good. A good manga for most shonen, and the violence in it (especially after Hao shows up) is enough to keep more mature readers interested. Far more mature than it appears.

The anime ruins the good parts of the manga and basically hacks it apart in general. Parts of it don't occur in the same setting and the timeline is all messed up too.

The 4Kids adapation: So bad, there is really little in common between the manga and this abomination, other than maybe the premise.

If you even think you like this series, do yourself a favor and never watch it again, read the manga instead.
