Basically, I was in the process of installing some encyclopedia and my computer froze, so I restarted. I couldn't finish the installation, not that I care anymore, but I can't uninstall it, and it's tying up 2 precious gigs of HD space. Help anyone?

Well either you can reinstall the software (completely) and then uninstall it, or you can delete the files manually and go into the registry and delete anything that it might have created. I suggest the former.

Thanks a lot cooldude. I deleted the files manually since I couldn't finish the installation. I'm trying to figure out the registry thing now. Apparently, way more than two gigs were tied up. The folder said it was 2.5 gigs, but by deleting it, I got 10 gigs back! Sweet.

Essentialy, Start->Run: Regedit then Ctrl-F and search for the name of your program or the company that made it, hopefully you should come up with something.
