I heard that in the japanese manga naruto sometimes refers sasuke as sasuke-chan to mock him, is this true? does anyone have any scans of this I can sorta read hiragana that would be so great if it were true

Yeah thats true. If you read a good scanlation they leave all the name's.

in my scanlation check out chapter 175 page out..
it says "That's because your still weak, Sasuke-CHAN!"
this is on top of the hospital roof when there just about to start fighting..

I think that he only calls him that way at chapter 175, i don't believe he'd dare calling sasuke that way normally or that Sasuke will allow Naruto to 'chan' him...

it was just a one-time thing, to enchance the dramatic effect

Oh please. you say it like naruto is scared of sasuke or something. but yes it was a one time thing. despite their problems, naruto does respect sasuke. i'm not sure if the opposite is true. but also that was one of my favorite scenes in the series. where naruto goes against sasuke and actually force him to acknowledge his skills. even though sasuke trries his hardest to convince himself that naruto is below him. that egomaniac

Yeah that part was great. Now, I wonder how they are going to handle that in the dubbed version....probaly not too well.

i love any part naruto is acknowleged for being strong i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif so therefore, i love that scene too.

sasuke-chan is for mocking...i think.

yeah i think something along those lines...

yeah well i just hope i dont hear a dub version of naruto...i think it would ruin the series totally for me..different voices, wrong translations ahhhhhh...

giving me nightmares!
