I had trouble trying to download, too. I use Azureus. I had to copy shortcut for the link, and then in Azureus, I clicked on File, Open, and URL. I pasted the link in there, and it worked for me. Not sure if other torrent applications will do the same since I do not use the other ones.

I downloaded it from their http:// server (http://metafx.net/ah/) in about 1/2 hour, not bad.

However, about 5 sentences in to it, I had to stop. The subbing was just... Horrible. You'd think they used some crappy online translator or something. Really, I'll either wait for Shin-Otaku's or ANBU's.

Anyone who has watched it, did the animation seem different? The characters faces just seemed odd to me, not sure why.

The faces looked fine, but the translation was horrible. I swear, someone got ahold of the script, and babelfished the entire thing. They even blatantly said "Not sure what this means" in two parts. Sad.

dont bother the subbing is the gayest shit ive ever seen. The subber insults us. Acting like we r like retarded. For instance when tsuande points at the necklace in words he writes (points at necklace) lol and the spelling is the worst. This guy should be banned for subbing ever again and the timing for some parts is horrible. My advice dont download it. Wait for anbu or somone who knows how to sub to release thier own.

The English was just lovely at some parts in this one! ;-) Well, I don't know much Japanesse so I wouldn't understand more the around 10 words of the whole episode without subs, and even though it was some bad English one does understand it all ( or atleast I do think I understand, some words can be wrongly translated) :-)

The next episode seams to be a great change in the story and I don't know how I will be able to wait!

And one thing, I just likes Jiraiya more and more as he's character shows more of him then just he's perverted behaviour! :-D

Yah, it really seems like subtitles in this one are un-edited and un-polished in some ways. still I think that those extremely helpful remarks like "(naruto looked stunned)" were there just for the kicks (translator got a humor?) i/expressions/rolleye.gif

but in the end it's a speedsub and I didn't expect accurate translations and high quality from it at the first place. I don't keep these anyway. It was comprehensible enough to follow and at least it didn't seem to be way off; although I admit that I may not be the right person to say that with my non-existant japanese skills i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif

well, at least it was good enough to get my weekly naruto-fix off from it i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif

...The subbing was not just pointing out the obvious, it actually ruined the impact of the show. When Jirayia makes a face, then in the sub-titles there's a little tiny ascii face. Sub-titles aren't PART of the show, they're there to make me understand the fucking show, not to make me laugh.

It even said "dies" when a character died. It was terrible.
