Has it struck anybody else yet that Orochimaru is still disguised as a man?

Shouldn't he be that freaky little girl whose body he took?
Or perhaps he can't switch back after using some kind of jutsu to look like a man (unlikely).

He can switch, its just that he likes the original way he looks and that going around looking like some woman, just doesnt suit him

but if he were to use henge, he would be wasting a lot of chakra

maybe the jutsu that keeps oro the way he looks (in his original form), is somewhat categorized in the same type of jutsu as Tsunades young turning jutsu - im not saying its the same, im saying that they both are used to change appearances without the need of using henge

Hehe theres no way telling what the hell that guy/girl is.. its Orochimaru and its creepy. But he's an oh so cool creepy guy. The Tensai explanation probably sums it up, sound pretty right. I think Oro's face switching technique has more to do with being like a snake. The whole shedding skin thing. After all, after he got burnt on the tree by Sasuke, he "molted" off the old skin.

Perhaps Oro's in the closet, so to speak, and has taken a female form to compensate. I've seen other girly boys in anime, like Jokotsu in Inuyasha, and Haku in Naruto, who were very effeminate, and wondered if this was a 'stand in' for homosexuality. I don't know a lot about Japanese taboos when it comes to sexual orientation, but it seems like that would be a good way to indicated homosexuality without actually having any real homosexual content.
