I know ages ago there was a thread about this, but I can't find it now.

I was looking through some old files on my HD and I found the trailer for this series - I'd forgotten about it, it looks great! Has anyone heard about when the series is airing? The animation style looks so good.

It is written here that the vintage of the series ended on the 23rd of December 2004. Why is that?

16 was a pretty funny ep, we found out that Akira was a girl(big suprise) and a hime, and it looks like the real fight is about to begin

As expected, the fights are gonna be really good with all these HiME's involved, including the ones we hadnt seen yet.
I'm glad they cleared up why Akira felt she needed to hide her sexuality.
Maybe her father is Kokuyou i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif (hey, it isnt that far of a stretch, is it?)

one thing that bugs me is that if not mistaken, when Negi was waking up the guy he had a necklace similar to the one Mikoto has...

The necklace that looks like Mikoto's wasn't near Nagi, that was before the transition. It was really next to Reito, he picked it up, and the flashback in 18 furthered that connection. It seems that Reito is Mikoto's brother, or at least that's what I got out of it.

that's true.. Reito... for some reason i had remembered that it was Negi... lol

anyways.... i liked how there's blood in this show... this is going to be a great couple of episodes... only 24 episodes, so i expect action action action...

This series bounces back and forth between hilariously funny and seriously twisted action.

Still alot of questions to be answered, especially who the remaining two himes are.

Current HiME count and their Children:

Mikoto (Miroku)
Midori (can't remember)
Natsuki (Duran)
Akane (lost her Child, Harry)
Akira (Gennai)
Yukino (Diana)
Sister Yukariko (Vlas)
Nao (Julia)

Possibles:
the ghost girl Mai and Mikoto fought
the maid of the school Director

I actually think the maid (forgot her name) is Katsushiro's (the director) doll or power and not an actual person. We know she has some connection to the Hime's but I'm pretty sure she's not one. When Nagi visited her in eps 18, her room was FILLED with dolls. Its not any proof of anything, but I think that she controls dolls and is not acutally a Hime. There are also a few hints here and there that she has some relation to the Norse Goddess of the Underworld, Hel.

As for possibilities, I still think that Shiho is way up there for possibly being a Hime. There really aren't that many female characters left in the show to be Hime's, and I'm not so sure the ghost girl counts as one of the 12 Hime's, more like an overlap or an extra. To be honest, just from the hair it reminded me of Akane, but it can't be her.

The only people already introduced that are left are the school doctor, Aoi and Chie (Mai's friends), Fujino (the president), and Haruka. Unless they bring someone new in or put emphasis on someone who's barely been in it, its one of these.

yeah i agree... an awesome set of episodes....

I had hoped for a more intense Akira + Takumi scene... but Mai taking over was nice...

And nice to see the President, she is great....

Now, this series is full of lies, backstabbers, traitors... you name it, it is awesome... it's impossible to know who are the good guys and who are the bad guys

Unless I'm forgetting someone, I think there's already 4 remaining: Mai, Natsuki, Mikoto, and President.

The ones that lost are: Akira, Nao, Shiho, Sister, first girl that got owned by Miyu, Alyssa (if she counts), Midori, and Yukino. That totals up to 12 HiMEs total.

Midori described her "most important person", but we never saw him.

These past episodes have been really great! The president is quite the psycho, as you all have already said.
A hell of a lot different from the first part of the anime, wouldnt you say?

EXACTLY! The first part was all about joining them together. I thought that once they all worked together, they would kick everyone's ass. Oh, the twisted fate of the HiME's just changed that. Now it's all about backstabbing, haha. My type of anime right there.
Wonder what Miyu is gonna do. We see her become "alive" again, but haven't seen her ever since. Who's her first target, that's the question i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif

As much as it would rule to see more HiME, Shizuru losing makes absolutely no sense bevause she is a goddess, and therefore this movie must be fake, or Natsuki was brainwashed and told Shizuru not to fight, that might allow for this situation...either way, more Shizuru!
