A lot of people, and by a lot I imply a huge generalization, seem to hate Sakura, Hinata, Sasuke, Kiba, Chouji, and many, many other characters.

Then which characters DON'T you hate? Other than Itachi because apparently (another generalization) everyone worships the ground he walks on.

I like all the characters in some form or another, they all have their purpose in the series and at least have a little development.

I'll admit that I hated Neji early on (mostly because Hinata is one of my favorites), after his fight with Naruto I gained a little respect for him, and after his fight in the latest arc in the manga I couldn't help but think he's cool.

Alot of people don't like Sakura, and in my opinion, it's because she hasn't been developped yet. If they could get her past the 'SASUKE-KUN!!!' stage, I'm sure her popularity would improve.

those twin dragon things werent in the manga they were just made up in the anime to make the fight longer since it ended in one square in the manga so tenten does indeed suck. hinata is the only one that might be able to fight but she is currently to weak to be a threat to anyone. if she encounters someone that can use taijutsu she will lose since all she can do is stop ppl from using ninjutsu and hurt their organs so if a chracter knows taijutsu and can counter her taijutsu she looses. so they all suck.

Really? Interesting. I only started reading the manga when I ran outa anime, and discovered it.. around chapter 130 something.

Naruto-the main character, hard not to like him, funny but also full of surprises, never know whats gonna happen in a fight with him.
Kakashi-always liked him since he was introduced, sharingan=badass.
Itachi-at first i didnt like him, now i think hes awesome, i like his attitude and hard as is to say this i gotta agree with the itachi fanboys there may be more to the story.
Jiraiya-he funny and strong as hell. plus he's the PIMP of naruto.
