How to run a Bittorrent sites

Hello, I was wondering how you set up a traker site. I know how you make a .torrent file but then do you just post that on your website with one seeder and does it trak it self? what else must i do to get it working. Thank you

read the docs. the mainstream distribution comes with documentation on how to do that, as well as the mainstream tracker.

If you want more advanced tracker features, there are other options to use, but get familiar with the terminology and the readme's of the main release first.
