Hey Naruto fans, Im looking to buy the AUTHENTIC DVD's for the NARUTO series-not the bootleg version. Does anyone know where I might be able to find it?????

I don't think they exist. Infact I'm pretty sure they are nonexistant.

well, the r2 dvds are authentic. I'd recommend www.cdjapan.co.jp for that over amazon.co.jp -- but that's just my preference -- I'm not sure which would be cheaper.

There are no r1 dvds, the series is unlicensed as of yet. People have predicted its licensing for a long time, but nothing's come of it yet. I'm sure a LOT of dvd companies are interested in it, but the series is still an indeterminate length and the japanese companies are probably not settled on a fixed rate for it yet.

I am 100% sure this series will eventually be licensed. It can't not be, it's too incredibly popular in Japan, the US, and the rest of the world. The questions are when, by whom, under what terms, and for how much.

But the answer to those questions right now are "not yet, who knows, who knows and who knows"

Fansubs, illegitimate dvds, or unsubbed r2dvds are your choices right now.
