As Jiriah Explained there are legendary evil beasts of unlimited power like 'The Nine Tales,' but which other beasts do you think if at all, will be introduced into Naruto, Wolf, Dragon, I'd love to have your oppinion.

no no, thats a common misconception...but its actually Shukaku, the sand tunaki.....which is why gaara looked like him when he transformed. And i believe gamabunta mentioned him being one of the youma as well

the priest thing didnt make alot of sense, but im pretty sure its more like.....
the priest had the shukaku sealed up inside him, and then when he died his ashes were preserved. So by using the ashes of the priest, shukaku was sealed into gaara as well.

Because dragons are cool. Even puff the magic dragon is cool! I think that they're gonna stick to variations of real animals though. Maybe. The kirin, I think is a unicorn, and they didn't mention any in naruto. But, it's pretty much a horse so, maybe.

If they throw in a dragon, its going to look pretty different to what most (western) viewers expect to see anyway even without modifying the concept. Its because westen dragons look like the ones you see in the movies (Pick any, theyre all just about the same). Eastern dragons look like a reeeealy long and oversized snake that can fly. If you remember Zabuza's jutsu (Dragon missile or something), the shape the water took is what eastern dragons are supposed to look like.

i don't know if the demon inside of gaara is one of the youmas. i don't remember reading anything like that but i know for sure that it said kyubi is one of the youmas with the most chakra.

chambers, watch the hospital episode again. Gaara explains that the ashes of some old sand priest was used in the incarnation jutsu with gaara while his mom was pregnant.

There won't be dragons. Dragons in eastern culture are considered godly creatures, not power-hungry beasts of mass destruction. Dragons are sometimes symbolized as snakes because if you actually know some of eastern culture, snake is sometimes referred to as "small dragon", and dragons "big dragon"

in jpn cats are consider good luck

turtle shell cats are carried by jpn sailors in olden times to ward off storm and look at those cute jpn cats in some of the japanese shop. yeah the one which have a coin in one of it's grubby paw and another with the paw extent upwards. oh and not to mention hello kitty. looks like cats have some impact in jpn culture
and since naruto is based heavily on jpn and to some minor extend the chinese culture, i would say one of the beast have to be a cat.

btw some of u guys speak like u've know most of the beast. have they reveal most of them in the manga?? cos i am not a manga reader therefore i am not aware of anything beyond the current anime

Goku is the monkey king, the monkey king went fought god, the monkey king is almost as strong as the Kyubi...

but then again, the monkey king comes from a budhistic deity system, not the shinotistic, so i'm not sure...
but Goku has a chance to get there as well, even if his name will be son goku and he'll be less stupid...

ofcourse they know how to do it, i'm sure that they also had lot's of practise in it, i bet they extracted about 10-20 kyubi's from seals, each of them!

i doubt that sealing jutsu are something that every shinobi knows.
no, scratch that, I'm sure that most ninjas don't have even the slightest clue about sealings, and even Itachi probably has no idea about those things...

if Orochimaru said to Kakashi "so now you know sealing techiniques as well", it's easy to assume that sealing isn't part of being an ANBU leader, and that it's rare even for guys at Kakashi's level (probably the strongest non Hokage\Sannin leaf jounin)...

among the Akatsuki (and the past members of it), i think only Orochimaru and the 'grand boss\founder' (if there is one) have any idea on sealings, and i doubt that even Itachi knows what the plans for Naruto are...

and some one did mention kirin. the chinese version of unicorn that looks like half dragon half horsie is intresting. a high chance of that beast poping up i think.

possibly...although it seemed they wanted to take naruto alive, so maybe turning him to ashes isnt gonna work. Afterall, kyubi sealed in naruto and the sand priest possessed by shukaku were probably two completely different methods

I think the youma are supposed to be evil spirits. Foxes and Tanuki are supposed to be evil. Ryu, kirin, and pheonixes are generally considered good, so I don't think they'll show up. Centipedes are evil, so I'm thinking a giant centipede. Maybe a Kappa ot a snake.

Tapirs are cute. I have trouble imagining a giant, evil tapir.....

The evil demon animals in Inuyasha are probably the same as the ones in Naruto. Centipedes, spiders, stuff like that.

i believe tanuki (sp?) is a racoon dog and in myth those creature are mischievious not evil.

and yes racoon dog is a real animal. the one in myth is the one that could take on any form

We already know a Toad is one of them. It has shown the 9 tails fighting the Giant Toad multiple times. Whether someone has the Toad inside of them i.e. Naruto style, though, is probably unlikely.

i've been rewatching Shin Otaku episode 82 and Jiraiya did mention something that goes like this

'after all, it [Kyuubi] is a Youma with the strongest of chakra'

ok can someone comfirm that part in the anbu version cos my anbu version is stuffed. if that is correct that means certain youma have certain strenght, like Kyuubi have the strongest of chakra and others might have stronger parts. so what is Tanuki's strenght??

And I believe all the beasts are considered to have "limitless sources of chakra" so I doubt any one is much stronger than any of the others.
