This is as much as I have learned so far (from the anime ofcourse, I dont read the manga)

Teacher -> Student


1st + 2nd -> 3rd
3rd -> Orochi / Tsunade / Jiraiya
Orochi -> Anko
Jiraiya -> 4th (and now Naruto)
4th -> Kakashi
Kakashi -> Naruto / Sasuke / Sakura
Kurenai -> Kiba / Hinata / Shino
Gai -> Lee / Neji / Tenten
Asuma -> Ino / Chouji / Shika
Ebisu -> Konohamaru (and Naruto for a couple of minutes)


Did I miss anything or figured things wrong?

Although those are very true, I think the makers of Naruto forgot about the age factor. The ages don't really make sense if you think about it. I'll use an estimated age for these people.

1st+2nd->3rd (about 10 when he became Hokage)
3rd (about 40 at this time)->Oro, Jiraiya, Tsunade (about 9 or 10 at this time)
Oro (about 30 this time)->Anko (maybe 11)
Jiraiya (40 this time, which makes 3rd 70)->4th (about 15 in the picture)
Jiraiya (50 now, 3rd 80)->Naruto(12, born same time 4th died)

Now think about it, the 3rd IS NOT 80 YEARS OLD, because his grandson is only like 7 or 8!!

btw, I know Jaraiya and Oro's age because they're the same as Tsunade, and she's 50

thats not really accurate, many of those ages are very wrong. narutoguide.com had accurate ages but that site seems to be down...

3rd (20-30) -> Orochi, Jiraiya, Tsunade (10-12)
Orochi (20-25) -> Anko (10-12)
Jiraiya (25-30) -> 4th (15-ish?)
4th dies at 23, making Jiraiya 38
Jiraiya (50) -> Naruto (12)

Add 38 to the initial range of age for the 3rd, and you get 58-68 for the age of the 3rd when he croaked.

Sounds reasonable to me.

NOTE: All ages are speculation. But it sounds right to me.

the ages they are in now sounds right. in fact the only wrong one is naruto he is 13, wnet a year between begining and chuunin saga. if my memory serves me correctly kakashi is around 27, naruto 13, jiraiya 50, 3rd 68(before he died of course), anko around 30.

from the start of the anime, those are correct, except naruto, who is 12. so currently, we need to add another year to reflect their true age

if there is a Chuunin exam twice a year, how can a year have gone by since there has only been one Chuunin exam? unless you suppose that all the genins that failed the chuunin exam didn't take it more than once.

4th other student were those you saw inthe flashback the pink haired girl and the guy with glasses and a toothpick.

asuma isntthat old he just looks old.
