If their wasn't an offical release it might just be a rumor. I don't think 4kids would pick this up anyway. It's not their kind of series, or they might be trying to break thier old mold and going for an older audience, but everyone should wait for the offical announcemnet from who ever liscened it.

well manga has been liscened in the US for a while now by Viz in Shounen Jump

I'm more excited about downloading new Naruto eps, but i always seem to come away from One Piece with a higher level of enjoyment. My third long-running series, Prince of Tennis, finally comes back and now I lose another. Things just ain't going well.

Even if K-F decides to continue, chances are they'll only provide it on IRC, which I don't happen to use right now.

That might be why they are deleting every post on their forum about the licensing. They have probably written an email or a letter to 4Kids asking how far into the series they licensed. Then again, it could be that they just don't care, and are going to continue subbing no matter what.

people calm down, go to irc.rizon.net to #neko-factory they don't do the best job but they will continue one piece they started at 110 and are at 120 now, i repeat some eps are not as good of quality as K-f and the subbing isn't on the same level but if K-F decides to stop subbing One Piece you can get your fix ova there

Even if they had the money it's not likely they would license all of such a large series at once without testing the waters first. They probably got like one season for now with an option for the rest and if it sells well they could pick the rest of it up.
