go to #anbuom@irc.rizon.net and write "you fuckers!!1 where is melody 4? stop sitting on your asses and release the damn episode!" and then look for your banning reason.
if it's "we haven't released it becuase idiots like you are alive" then it's still worked on, and if it's "well, now that Melody is licensed, you don't have any reason to come here anymore" then it's licensed...

seriously though, I don't think it's been stopped or licensed, It's probably just not on top of thier prioritry list, and maybe they're having a busy time in thier real life, i'm quite sure that it's just a minor set back, and that the 4th episode will be out in a matter of a week or two...

They used to be very good back in the day, but i dont know how they are at the moment since some of their best members left for Onigiri...

****SPOILER ALERT*****

Humans fought a war with demons long ago and lost. Now demons rule the world and its filled with corruption (i.e, greed, etc.) Because they are living a peaceful and profitable existence, humans chose to forget and covered up the war. They forgot the "melody". Everyone except for the Meros warriors who have to find "The Melody of Oblivion" and release her. The Meros Warriors also battle the demons.

It's similar to Revolutionary Girl Utena in that it has underlying themes. There is a musical theme with the battle gear.The fanservice quotient is slightly elevated in this title.

It's a good title.

does anyone else get sleepy when watching this one? From what i've seen (1-5) the pacing seems really slow. I'll check back later a few episodes down the road to see if this has gotten more interesting.

Maybe the pace will pick up now that they've finally gotten to the last Melos Warrior. It's a shame that the battles are spread between 2-3 episodes.

I was into it until episode 4. Watched up to 7 and just stop, I'm sick of it. Just too slow.

Those screams the Monster Union Agents make going into their machine make me want to punch my wall repeatedly. And the plucking of the strings section in an orchestra at the same time doesn't help.

ok, well i started to watch it...i'm only on episode 6...i think it's those OKAY anime.

I love the opening theme. i listen to it nonstop. the piano version is so good too!!

Yeah the opening is awesome.... I'm on episode 11.... I think the series is getting better.... I didnt enyoy the first episodes that much, but I think that it is moving in the right direction...

I really hope that at some point they show the ending to the fight between Kurofune and Hol... unless it becomes a perpetual battle (which I doubt)....

And also that Monster King seemed to be a Melos Warrior of some sort... at least he appears to have the some sort of abilities that resemble theirs... and he has the tattoo...

btw, anyone know why its taking so long to release the later episodes? i have the raws up to 22, but 14 is the highest been released, and it took over a month for that... still a great series

Now Melody of Oblivion is being subbed my A-Destiny. They started where Rice-Box stopped. Episode 18 has recently been released. Rice-Box said their team is quite busy and they are short-handed on translators but they hadn't dropped Melody of Oblivion.
