But the thing that makes it lame incomparison to Naruto, is that America's slums and Taebo isn't something very mystical or mysterious. And it's too 'current'.

I'm sure if we have a remake of Naruto and he's in a city with ninja's having machine guns, and you see Naruto Kage Bunshin and punches them, isn't cool no more.

Well, I don't think 4kids would license Naruto for real. Look at all their dubbed anime... most of them do not have direct human-to-human fighting like Naruto does.
I figure it will be Funimation, Bandai or someone else that is gonna dub Naruto.

If anoyone will license it's going to be viz since they release the manga they're going to corner the whole Naruto market. So yeah we should start a petition and make sure they dont screw the anime up like the manga.
