I just started wathing Naruto and was wondering if it has a certain number of episodes per season, or if it is televised all year ala no season??

They go by seasons. But don't worry, you'll get to watch it the whole year round. So far it's been airing non-stop since 2002. And taking only a week's off on in-between seasons.

Heheh, sometimes anime does go on unannounced Hiatus though, but thankfully that's fairly rare.

Well if they catch up to the manga, I hope they would choose going on a large break instead of: 1) Making a pointless saga which makes no sense or 2)Lengthen episodes by giving the characters constipation. (think DBZ)

It will take quite some time for the anime to catch up to the manga. but at it's current pace it might just pull it off in a year

Could be, but I think it's more like 1.5 years off .. I just *hope* the anime sticks with it and doesn't end early without completing i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif

uh, 2 generations?
that would actually be fine with me if they threw in a bogus saga to give the manga a good lead...they can have the konoha kiddies go on fun filled adventures and perhaps build on their characters more.....
or maybe show more stuff with other hidden villages
