Hey when i first saw this it blew my mind. Playing the role of Shino's father in ep 79 was in fact Lenny Kravitz. http://www.testi-canzoni.com/lenny_kravitz.jpg He has yet to be reached for comment about this cameo, or whether he will appear in more anime in the future...

Yeah, just as Xollence said, Shino's father sounds and looks like Auron from FFX, wich is really kool but if only he had Auron's katana

Yeah his dad does resemble auron but without the beer bottle and sword. still hes cool.

I noticed the Resemblince to auron the vary first time i saw him. Now if shino's mom looks like Auron i am going to Freak out. Please make her look like lulu or something

A guy who used to be really active here at Gotwoot once made a parody picture which stated that Shino's father was the love child of Auron & Lenny Kravitz. It was a really funny picture montage. Too bad I can't find it anymore.
