Asuma is the 3rd hokage's son

hay dudes has anyone noticed noticed that asuma shikamaru's sensei could be the 3rd's son. I noticed this when i was looking at the character popularity polls that the 3rd hokage has the last name as asuma and if you look back to when asmua nominates hes squad for the chounin exam he uses the name sarutobi asuma the same name as the 3rd hokage. plus the look alike

ok, let's be serious. we don't really know for sure if they are related. the fact that they aren't really close (it never really showed them together) makes be believe that they aren't related. but then again, we haven't really seen much of asuma and the 3rd (we won't anymore).

all i have to say about this is that Smith is a common last name, perhaps Sarutobi is as well. If Asuma WAS Sandaime's son, that would make Konohamaru Asuma's son. Why was Iruka comforting Konohamaru after Sandaime's death rather than his father... or uncle or someone of closer relation to him than a teacher

yes this has been mentioned theorized and disscussed a quite few times, the problem is new people come in and make a thread such as this and get chewed out and then get upset and can't understand why.

this actually really funny. Honestly man your not the first person to think of this. its not really a great discovery. I 'm pretty sure Sarutobi (sp?) is the 3rds first name and Asuma's Last. Not related. This is a duplicate thread. Locked. LOL
