.. Uhm. What are the differences between these two? I sometimes hear one is better in case one reaches problems w/ downloading and watching anime. So .. just need some quick info because I have DivX. Is it really neccesary for me to get XviD?

Different groups use different codecs to encode thier releases. If you wish to beable to view releases by all groups it would be a good idea to install XviD as well as DivX and the ffdshow filters.

like wilik said, it really depends on the group that your getting it from. Some groups only use XviD, others won't. But to be on the safe side, heres koepi's site, you can get XviD from here:

Not only anime uses XviD but more and more movies of all kinds are encoded with it so you should really get it...

Is there an actual XviD player, or is it just a set of additional decoders for other players?
