I was just looking back over the manga and their first "real" mission that the Hokage assigned them was suppose to be a C level mission, but in reality it was an A level since they had been attacked by Haku and Zabuza?
I also looked at the end of episode 69 where a sound nin is looking at Naruto's nin-info card and it lists:
A level - 0
B level - 0
C level - 1
D level - 7

Meaning that the Zabuza mission was a C level? or that it was just recorded as that and it was really an A level mission?

It was just recorded like that. The guy couldn't afford an A rank mission, so he asked for a C one.

but it was recorded as a C rank because the old guy paid for a C rank

Dont forget they recenly got a 'SUPER A' For chasing after Gaara

And the most recent mission. I'm not too sure finding for Sasuke is what level mission.

I think they should revamp the mission grades. 'B' for goiing up against Jounins. 'A' for important missions concerning the village (Like maybe assassinating another Kage, or Protecting the village, or Gaara's case.)

B is for ninja fighting against Chunins (and genins, but techniquelly, there isn't a chance of fighting a genin, since mission whihc invlove ninja fights require B level, which is for chunins).
A is for fighting against Jounins, the S class don't have spesifaction, but i guess it's when they're going against a strong enemy with lots of unknown factors...
